Registration for Fall 2024 Season is Open

*VOLUNTEER PARENT/GUARDIAN COACHES NEEDED!

ALL experience levels are welcome (and needed) to volunteer to be a parent coach.
Please select head coach or assistant coach when registering your child. Coaches should be able to commit to most of the sessions during the season ➔ Additional Info
Parent Coaches must have a current CORI check through Medford Soccer/MASS Youth Soccer to be allowed on the field

GENERAL

All Medford Soccer teams for Pre K - Grade 2 are part of the intracity league (i.e. they only play against other teams in Medford)
Teams are based on the following age groups:
Pre-K (4 years old; birthday by 12/31/2024)
Kindergarten (5 - 6 years old; in kindergarten grade)
Grade 1 (7 years old)
Grade 2 (8 years old)
Teams are coed
No prior experience is needed. We encourage everyone to sign up and have fun!
Cost is $150 per player per season. There is a sibling discount of $15 for each additional family member.

SEASONS

Fall Season runs from early September through early November. Registration is open May 1 - August 31.
Spring Season runs from early April thru early June. Registration is open December 1 - March 31.

Pre-K

Practices/games are on Sundays (9:00am - 10:00am) at the fields behind Andrews Middle School.
Each session consists of 2 to 3 games/drills/skills-based activities and a 15-20 minute scrimmage between the teams.
Fall 2024 Season
- Start Date: Sunday, September 8th
- End Date: Sunday, November 3rd
- Location: Andrews Middle School

Kindergarten

Practices/games are on Sundays (10:30am - 11:30am) at the fields behind Andrews Middle School.
Each session consists of 2 to 3 games/drills/skills-based activities and a 15-20 minute scrimmage between the teams.
Fall 2024 Season
- Start Date: Sunday, September 8th
- End Date: Sunday, November 3rd
- Location: Andrews Middle School

Grade 1:

Practices are on Tuesdays (6pm - 7pm) at the fields behind Andrews Middle School. As the season progresses and the sun sets sooner, practices will shift to a 5:30pm start.
Games are on Saturdays (8:30am - 9:30am).
Fall 2024 Season
- Start Date: Tuesday September 3rd
- End Date: Saturday November 2nd

Grade 2:

Practices are on Thursdays (6pm - 7pm) at the fields behind Andrews Middle School. As the season progresses and the sun sets sooner, practices will shift to a 5:30pm start.
Games are on Saturdays (10:00am - 11:00am)
Fall 2024 Season
- Start Date: Thursday September 5th
- End Date: Saturday November 2nd

UNIFORM & Equipment

Players will be provided a team jersey prior to their first game.
Players should come prepared with shin guards, soccer socks, cleats, soccer ball, and water.
- U.S. Soccer recommends a size 3 ball for players 8 years old and younger, and size 4 for ages 8-12.
